Hi! I’m Dawn Seymour, Mom, Master Knitter, certified knitting instructor, and IBM retiree. I have a BFA in Art History and am the owner of Fiber Rhythm LLC. I’ve been a knitter since I was around 7 years old and started selling my designs online in 2007–while still working full time at IBM. I took an early retirement at the end of 2013 and started exploring the idea of developing online patterns and courses related to knitting. The Discover Color Knits concept was conceived of way back then. However, with the opening of Fiber Rhythm Craft & Design, a local yarn shop in SE Portland, Oregon, my efforts were focused in a different direction and I found I didn’t have much time to work on my own designs– let alone create a course to help other designers work with color! I’m so happy to return to this project and am excited about helping others use color successfully in their knitting projects!
